- Four Hytera analog repeaters (VHF), all single-site units mounted on trailers.
- Two simplex channels for localized communications.
- User Equipment: Primarily Motorola DP1400 and DM1400 radios, with a mix of Kenwood and Kirisun units.
The client faced increasing interference issues on Channel 5, causing communication disruptions. Additionally, the need to secure proper ICASA licenses for their frequencies was critical to avoid regulatory penalties.
The Solution

- Stark deployed Private Line (PL) tones across the entire radio fleet to mitigate interference on Channel 5.
- Programming was carried out efficiently over a structured five-day period, ensuring all radio equipment—repeaters, portable radios, mobile units, and base stations—was configured and operational.
